Betty Jewell (Johnson) Cantrell, 77, of Bald Knob, Arkansas was born August 15, 1941, in Banner, Arkansas at the family home and went to be with her Lord on April 4, 2019. She peacefully passed, surrounded by her loving family, in her favorite chair at the family home.

Betty loved her Lord supremely, her family sacrificially, her friends superbly and no one superficially. She was one of the kindest people ever to grace the planet. She loved unconditionally and stood by her loved ones without reservation.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Elsie (Robbins) Johnson, one brother, Doyle Johnson and one sister, Patricia Johnson Short.

Those left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 60 years, Donald Cantrell, her cherished sons; Kenny Cantrell, Larry Cantrell, Jimmy Cantrell, Jerry Cantrell, their loving and supportive spouses, one sister, Lucille Reeves and her husband Allen, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a host of special nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Monday, April 8, 2019 at the Velvet Ridge Church of God in Velvet Ridge, Arkansas, with interment following at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bald Knob.
