Ruby Fay Steers, age 91, of Clinton, AR went to be with her Lord Saturday, February 02, 2019.
Ruby was born August 6, 1927 at Rex, AR to James Edmond Blaney and Eva Myrtle Jones Blaney. She was married to Samual Agustos Steers, October 2, 1942. They had no children.
She is preceded in death by her husband, mother, father and six sisters. Left to cherish her memory are two sisters, Sue Hoyle and Betty Price, both of Bee Branch. Many nieces, nephews and friends.
Ruby Worked as a Child Nutritionist in the Oregon School Systems for many years. She also was a missionary to children in the Philippines.
She was a member of Clinton Assembly of God Church. She served and loved the Lord for many years. When asked how she was doing? She would reply ''Almost perfect.'' Now She Is!

I am a Church pastor in the the Philippines in Calbayog City Western Samar. In 1986 Ma'am Ruby Steers came to Samar to help Ma'am Eva Patrick a resident missionary from Bilingham Washington State. I had the privilege to serve as Ma'am Ruby's interpreter. I traveled with her and Eva Patrick to Mindanao. I last saw her in 1998 at the Missionary Alliance guest house in Manila. I have never heard about her ever since until this evening of June 7 2022 when I've got a prompting to type her name in Google. I indeed found her. I miss her. We look forward to meeting her again in heaven.

Ms.Ruby was an exceptional Lady and always had a Smile on her Face. She was Loved by many and always trying to help others. Helping Ms.Ruby she would always assure me God was Good. She touched my heart. Love You Ms.Ruby until we meet again. God Bless.
