Dear Katherine and family, so sorry to hear of your loss. Your Mother always had a sweet smile for me when we would meet out and about. It would please me that she would say, "yes, i remember you". I know your heart must be heavy right now. You will be in my thoughts and prayers for comfort and peace.

I was so sad to learn of Aunt Lib's passing. I loved her. She was so down-to-earth and funny. I remember her being a great cook, and drinking a LOT of coffee. There's an old home movie my Dad made when I was very young. Aunt Lib, Aunt Janette, and my mom, Hazel, we're all visiting at Grandma's house in the country. Lib had left her cup of coffee on the top of her truck and was getting ready to drive away. Dad would zoom the camera in for a close-up of the coffee to let us in on the joke that she had forgotten about it. Sometimes he would play it backwards and it would appear she had just arrived, took her coffee off the roof , and took a sip. We would all laugh no matter how many times he played it. I'll miss her very much.

Sorry for your loss. someone that wonderful will be greatly missed. I have the best memories of Aunt Lib, from perculator coffee pots to covering hangers. They don't come any better than Aunt Lib!
