I’m reminded how life is so precious when hearing about Vicki’s passing. I learned of the large family that is left grieving. I haven’t seen her since OGHS days. But, I shall always see her in my memory. She left an impression on all of us. I pray that the family will carry on her legacy of friendliness and a positive energy.

Martha and family, I am devastated to hear that Vicki has passed away, I am so sorry for your loss! I pray for peace and comfort for all that have lost such a special lady. It's hard to believe my friend Vicki has passed away, …way too soon, and …way too young to be gone. I found my friend Vicki standing in front of my 6th grade class at Oak Grove Elementary, Mrs. Glover introduced her as our new classmate and asked for someone to be her buddy/friend. I took one look at her big beautiful blue eyes and bright smile and I ran to the front of the classroom and took her hand and told she could sit with me and help on our project! I learned so much about her she was easy to get to know and so friendly. We did so much together through our school years and then as we grew up. I have never laughed so much than when I was around her. I was so blessed to have known her and to have called her my friend! She will always be so special to me and I will hold her very dear in my heart and memories. "Margo and Gertrude" will be together again some day! I will miss my friend dearly and the world just seems a bit colder without her warm heart and smile. I love you my friend ~ Robin Paul Luck

I had known Vicki since elementary school. We both lived on Scenic Hill when those apartments were new. As her picture shows, she was an amazingly beautiful girl. My heart breaks for the family.

To all of Vickie's Family & Friends:

I am so very sorry to read of Vickie's passing. I am in shock to say the least. I remember her at Ole Main High School. She was always so nice, pretty, sweet. She was just like a ray of sunshine wherever she went. She will be missed. God bless all of you at this sad time. Just remember though, she is in a better place. And you all will be together again some day.

To the family:
I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that God cares for you in your time of grief. The Bible tells us to pray to him, he will sustain you in your time of need. This is found at Psalms 55:22 there it says "Throw your burden on Jehovah, and he will sustain you. Never will he allow the righteous one to fail." Deepest Sympathy.
