Stella Gay (Teegarden) Loosey, 72, of Poughkeepsie died January 6, 2020.

She was born on July 21, 1947 in Mountain Home to Otto Floto and Virginia Lee (Warner) Teegarden.

In her early years, Stella enjoyed camping and fishing and was a very caring person. In the most recent years, she enjoyed gardening and loved her flowers. She loved feeding birds and going to the senior citizen dance.

She is survived by two sons, James Loosey of Norfork, Damian Loosey of Norfork; one daughter, Stephine Seat (Trent) of Poughkeepsie; one sister, Lena Parnell of Salesville; five grandchildren, Lexi Freeman, Luke Hall, Sawyer Seat, Chase Loosey, Rowan Loosey; and four great-grandchildren, Ace Freeman, Arlee Freeman, Sadie Loosey, and Carter Hall.

Stella is preceded in death by her parents; Husband, James "Bub" Loosey; Steven Loosey; three brothers, Dwight Teegarden, Noel ''Shorty'' Teegarden, Ed Teegarden; and five sisters, Velma Lee Pruitt, Sally Foster, Shirley Moore, Rose Stapleton, and Jessie Napier

Pallbearers are Luke Hall, Damian Loosey, Chase Loosey, Trent Seat, Kevin Moore, and Steven Haarstad. Honorary pallbearers are James Loosey and Sawyer Seat.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 2:00p.m. at Galatia Christian Fellowship Church with Jeff Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Hand Cemetery.

Visitations will be one hour prior to the service.
