Delora Goff Headley, 79, of Cave City died Saturday, September 21, 2019.
She was born in Booneville, Mississippi on Monday, April 22, 1940 to Elbert W. and Velma B. Goff.
Delora loved her family very much and was an avid reader who also enjoyed sewing and crafts. She was a retired school teacher and devoted member of her church
She is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Barnett (Raymond) of Cave City, Melora Davis (Allen) of Cave City; one daughter-in-law, Beverly Headley; three sisters, Janice Seay of Scottsville, Kentucky, Judy Peacock (Latraina) of Douglas, Georgia, Rebecca Taylor (Gary) of Douglas, Georgia; seven grandchildren, Ramona Leddy, Rodney Barnett, Jonathan Headley, Brian Barnett, Gabrielle Hernandez, Austin Guerber, and Thomas Guerber; eighteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Delora is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stephen E. Headley; one son, David Headley; one grandson, Daniel Headley; and two brothers, Edwin and Robby.
Pallbearers are Rodney Barnett, Jonathan Headley, Brian Barnett, Austin Guerber, Thomas Guerber, Sean Leddy, and Brandon Hernandez. Honorary pallbearers are James Headley, Latraina Peacock, and Gary Taylor.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the First Assembly of God in Cave City with Rev. Bobby Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Visitations will be held Monday, September 23 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Roller-Crouch/McGee Funeral Home in Cave City.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Assembly of God 437 N. Main St, Cave City, AR 72521.
Charlotte, I'm so sorry for your loss. You and your family are in my prayers. God knows how much you love your mom and He knows your grief. Lean on Him for comfort and strength.
