Alphea (Franks) Love "Granny," 96, of Mt. Pleasant, Arkansas entered her Forever Home on Sunday, December 22, 2019. She was born on May 10, 1923 in Izard County the daughter of Oliver Newton Franks and Ovella (Tate) Franks. She was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Alphea's goal in life was to feed everyone and she even made biscuits at the nursing home. She was a foster grandparent at Mt. Pleasant School for over 35 years and grew the most beautiful flowers.
Survivors include her four daughters, Anna Haley of Melbourne, Ona Wyatt of Rosie, Pauline Walker (Donald) of Mt. Pleasant and Oleta Billingsley (Kirby) of Franklin; four sons, Ronnie Love (Lanelle), Larry Love (Eloise), Robert Love (Donna) all of Mt. Pleasant and Garry Love of Batesville; two sisters, Edith Patterson of Batesville and Lois Winningham of Jonesboro; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Floyd E. Love; five brothers, J.C. Franks, Joe Franks, Clyde Franks, Roy Franks and Floyd Franks; three sisters, Bessie Horton, Hazel Elms and an infant sister Imogene.
Pallbearers are Floyd Haley, Lance Wyatt, Chad Walker, Dustin Walker, Jesse Love, Alex Billingsley, Brandon Love, Brock Love, Brett Love, Daniel Love and Will Love.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm Friday, December 27, 2019 at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Elvis Sneathern and Doyne Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Reeves Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday, December 26, 2019 at the church.

Such a beautiful soul lost. Mrs. Alphea will be loved forever! Some of my fondest memories are when Nana Karen took us to visit her. She was so loving and always happy to see everyone.
So very sorry for loss. Granny was a one of a kind. She made sure the kids always came first. She will be deeply missed. Continued prayers for all of you.
