Sarah Leah House Carpenter, 65, of Little Rock, went home to the Lord March 18, 2020, after a long battle with cancer. Leah was a loving mother and will be missed by her friends and family.
She is survived by a son, Shye Carpenter (Rebecca), of Mayflower; her mother Pat House of Little Rock; brothers, Byron House, III (Shae) and John House (Lisa); sister, Priscilla "Missy" Thornton (Charlie); granddaughters, Taylor Heatherley and Hailey Lunsford; grandson, Nathan Carlock; great-grandsons, River and Atlas Heatherley, and great-granddaughters Brinley and Ainsley Carlock.
She was preceded in death by her father, Byron House Jr, and brothers, Marcus House and Prince "Scott" House (Barbara).
Memorial services will be announced when it is safe for her family and friends to gather.

Sending prayers and my sincerest condolences to Leah's son, mother, brothers and sisters. I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your loved one. I have often thought about Leah and wondered what happened to her over the years. I have the most fondest of memories of us growing up together in Birchwood and riding horses with her and the Braswell girls up and down Shackleford Road and Markham Street over the years.
