This is not an obituary. This is a story of a true love story between Albert Hutchinson (born March 15, 1923, in Anniston Alabama) and Floella Hutchinson (born October 23, 1927).

The two met through Albert's sister (JoAnn) just days before his deployment to the Pacific during WWII. They frequently corresponded through letters during his two years of service in the U.S. Navy. Upon his return, he asked his true love Flo to marry him, and that is when their incredible life together began. Albert maintained his role as a husband and father to Ronnie Hutchinson and Norma Larker (whom preceded them in death in 2000) while building a successful career at Ameron until he retired in 1988; Flo raised their family and maintained their home. They were both active in raising their children and in their Triune Sunday School class at Trinity United Methodist Church for 43 years. They lived together happily through the good times and the bad; hardly ever being apart, and always there for each other.

As the years passed and their years increased in age their health may have faltered but their love never did. Flo and Albert had been married for 74 years when the fateful day of February 17, 2020, came about. Flo's health failed her and she passed at 9:00 am February 17, 2020, and upon knowing this; Albert passed at 10:40 pm that evening. During their wedding vows, they promised, "til death do we part", but not even death could keep them apart. Our family is proud to be a part of their story of true love.

Flo is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Evalee Harned - Huskill. Albert is preceded in death by his parents and his three sisters: (Louise Sutton, Ruth Foster, and Joann Walters).

They are both survived by their son Ronnie Hutchinson (Dr. Dannetta Grisham), their grandchildren Michael Hutchinson (Denise) and Jennifer Hutchinson (Jodie Kelly) and five great-grandchildren Adams Smith, Julianna Smith, Teyla Hutchinson, Maggie Kelly, and Cece Kelly.

A private family burial will be held at Riverwood Memorial Gardens in Maumelle, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be sent to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation at https://mymsaa.org/

I met Albert and Flo when my husband, Al Kohler, played golf with Albert at Maumelle Country Club. My Al always talked about Albert and thought he was a wonderful man. When I met Albert and Flo, I certainly agreed that they were delightful people. After my Al passed away, I stayed in contact with them a time or two a year and visited them occasionally when they were at Parkway Village. They were so dedicated to each other and such a joy to be around. I am not surprised that they passed away on the same day and know they are happy together with our loving Lord.

I was fortunate enough to be considered as "extended family" by these two loving people. They welcomed me with open arms and open heart and I will be forever grateful for that. I enjoyed the laughs and the tears we shared and know that they will be together for eternity.

I am so grateful to have been your son-in-law. The love that you showed and the good times we all had together will be etched in my heart forever. I could not have ask for a better, kind and loving in laws. You made me feel like your own son. I will always cherish and love you both. May God give you eternal rest and bless the love family left to care on in our lives without you both.
