Phyllis Mutter Kenney, 93, of Little Rock passed away Sunday, February 8, 2020. She was born in Cedar Bluff, VA on January 7, 1927, to Arch and Susan Jackson Mutter. The family then moved to Bristol, Tn where she later graduated Kings College with honors. Phyllis went to work as a secretary for the FBI in Memphis, TN and was transferred to the FBI office in New York City. She met her husband, John that worked as an agent in the office and they were later married at Our Lady Chapel in St. Patricks' Cathedral. They lived in the New York area for 10 years and had 4 children. They also lived in several states including Columbus Ohio, Washington, DC, Charlotte, NC and Little Rock, AR.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her son, Terrance Kenney. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, John; daughter, Diane Williamson; sons, Colin Michael Kenney and Shawn Christopher Kenney all of Little Rock.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 13, at Christ the King Catholic Church. She will be buried next to her sister, Gloria Zell Mutter. Graveside service will be at Sunrise Cemetery in Bluff City, TN.

So sorry to hear of Phyllis's passing. I never got to meet her in person but my dad (Don Mutter) and grandmother (Rose Mutter) talked a lot about her when they were alive. I was so glad that I was able to help her this pass year by getting her father's grave marker. May god comfort you at this time of grief and loss.
