Dot was a great mentor and friend for me in the 90s when I started working in financial aid. She answered all my thousand questions with great patience and humor. I always looked forward to seeing her at professional meetings. She was always dressed so nicely and showed us all how to be a successful professional employee. She spoke so fondly of her family. I am so sad for your loss of this lovely woman. All of us whose lives she touched are mourning with you.

Mrs. Dot was the first person to notice me as a new comer to SAU and FUMC, Magnolia. She came to visit, picked me up to attend UMW and sit with her and others on her pew😄. I pray you can all find peace and comfort with all the good memories you must have with this precious lady I am proud to claim as a dear friend.

Alan, Nancy and family, I sure have fond memories of your mom back in the days we were growing up. But I really grew to appreciate her as I became an adult and had opportunity to interact with her on our trips back home. She was a neat lady and I especially appreciate the friendship she had with my mom. I know you are surrounded by a lot of love and fond memories right and I pray that brings comfort.
