Helen Emogene Korte, 92, of Little Rock passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019. She was born on January 23, 1927 in Judsonia, AR to the late Charles and Katie Nier. Helen was a longtime member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church. She loved her family and was known for being a great cook.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Thomas Korte and six siblings. She is survived by her three sons, Danny Korte (Debbie), Gary Korte (Paula) and Tracy Korte (Jeannie); one daughter, Debbie Krueger (Jeryl); fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 26 in the Chapel of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock AR 72211. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at Pinecrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to Unity Missionary Baptist Church, 1223 Garfield, Little Rock AR 72204.

Our deepest sympathy to you all, we was very sorry to hear of Emogene's passing. We will always remember the sweet, kind lady and friend she was to us. We were not able to attend the service, our grandchildren was spending the week with us. We will keep you all in our thoughts and heart. She and your Dad were always such a joy to be around.
