John Wesley Wedge, age 70 of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away on August 3, 2019. He was born in Little Rock on July 8, 1949, to his late parents, John and Minnie Maness Wedge. John was a painter by trade and was an avid hunter and fisherman. John was a veteran of the United States Army. He is preceded in death by six siblings, Clarence, Floyd, Harvey, Jack, Alice, and Margaret.

He is survived by one son, Les Potts of Jacksonville; two daughters, Stephanie Roetzel (Todd) of Cabot, AR and Carrie Smith (Stephen) of Roland, AR; eight grandchildren, Brandie, Madison, Victoria, Hannah, Mia, Blake, Bryce and Wesley; one great-grandchild, Dominic and three siblings, Ed, Ann and Sue.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Thursday, August 8, 2019, at Roller-Chenal funeral home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR (501)-224-8300. Visitation will begin one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock with Military Honors.
