James ''Jim'' F. Penn, 79, of Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 28, 2019. He was born on November 4, 1939 in Creston, Iowa.
He was a faithful member of the First Christian Church of Little Rock. He was also a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Jim enjoyed sailing, camping, playing snooker and building things. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lynn Penn, daughter, Christy Marie Simons of Bryant, father in law, Everett Stinnett, granddaughter, Sara Marie Tally (Robert) of Benton, great grandson, Rhett Tally of Benton, special niece Cara Norris (Todd) of Sherwood as well as his sister Sallie Lorenz (Leif) of Roland and niece, Stacey Mitchell of Little Rock.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Ruth Penn and nephew, Leif Lorenz, Jr.
Today, I learned that your family is mourning the loss of Jim. Please accept my condolences and be assured that almighty God is certainly aware of your painful feelings. May God comfort and sustain you to get through this day and others to come (Isa 41:13). Wishing your family all the best at this most difficult period.

Jim was a friend back in junior high school for a number of years. He was a good friend that i remember fondly. I send along my condolences.
