I went to grade school with Adam at Walnut Valley Christian Academy. I remember Him just as you described him here. He was very handsome even as a young kid and was very funny:) with a large heart. It breaks my heart for your family. You’ll always be in my prayers when God brings you to my mind or heart. I can’t imagine the pain. I’m so sorry. I am thankful for thé cross and for our Savior God and for heaven, the eternal kingdom of God He paid for us. Much Love,

It’s been 2 years today(may 29), since your untimely death, Adam, seems like just yesterday! The pain your mom and I feel hasn’t diminished, our family is not complete with you gone! Sure we are going through life’s every day motions, still things are just an emotional mess daily. We feel abandoned by our friends and yours, people don’t understand our grief, I guess. Love you forever, your Mom and Dad❤️🎣

I had a conversation with wonderful, loving parents today of a young man who meant everything to them. The way they spoke of this man made me feel like he was my own son. It was a very emotional conversation that I wouldn't trade for anything. This man whom they spoke of was Adam Thomas Clark. I have never met him nor his parents. Their voices over the phone touched me and made me so thankful for my own son. Thank you Thomas and Betty for honoring me by sharing the story of your very handsome son. God bless you both.

Tom & Betty, I know that I do not have words to tell you how I felt since I learned of Adam's death, so I will speak about the fond memories of watching him grow up from about kindergarten at Walnut Valley. He developed a smile that instantly made you want to be around him. As he grew up his love for vehicles gave us a common bond. He would stop by our tire store and we would talk about the Jeeps we were so proud of and were working on every chance we got. When I think of Adam, I cannot help to be proud to know that he and my son were childhood buddies that both shared the same morals, ethics, hard work, and successes in early life. Thank you for sharing him with us.

Tom and Betty,
I have enjoyed doing business with you over the years and visiting a little with you each time. You are both very sweet and I am truly sorry for the pain you are going through. Death truly is an enemy as the Scripture brings out at 1 Corinthians 15:26. But we can find comfort in the Scriptures, at Psalm 34:18 it shows Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted and he saves those who are crushed in spirit. We have a beautiful promise of seeing our loved ones again in the resurrection, but for right now may you find comfort in the Scriptures. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Wow! After reading all of these notes to Adam and the Clarks I wish I would have known him. I briefly had an encounter with Mr. Tom and Mrs. Betty at my office the other day and had a very deep and heartfelt conversation with them about Adam and his life. I don't know this family at all and I am feeling their pain and their loss for such a standard bearer of the Clark family. He was loved by all and had so much going for him. I can't imagine losing a child and will hopefully never understand the pain Tom and Betty are going through. There is nothing we can do as friends of this family but to be there for them, love them, and continue to honor their son. They want to talk about Adam. They don't want him to be forgotten and the world to move on. I don't blame them! I would be the exact same way. These people are good and they want they are yearning to have their son back. My family has been praying for healing and hope for the Clark family ever since I met them a few weeks ago. The only hope we can have is through God and him loving us so much to create a way for us to live in eternity with Him through the blood of his own son who He sent to the cross to die for our sins (past/present/future). We can have hope again that we will see Adam and the Clark family will be reunited with their beloved son whom they are well pleased. I pray for the Clark families close friends and church family that they will there for them during this hard time and love on them as they grieve and heal. There is nothing we can do but pray for them, love on them and be available to them. This life comes and goes and we must make the most of each and every day. Thank you for allowing me to learn more about Adam and getting to know the Clark family. God bless you all!

I didn't know Adam as well as most people on this page. What I remember about Adam was that he was always smiling. My biggest regret, honestly, is that I didn't get to know him better. What was very clear is that Tom and Betty raised an outstanding human. His impact on the people closest to him is something I will always admire.

I first met Adam in 2012...He was playing a role in the “The Kingdom”. I remember we had several meetings and made some changes as we went along and Adam was always “a can do guy”. He never complained he just did his part and did it well. It seemed as though Adam and another guard were having a contest to see who could leave the biggest bruise on me as I was blessed to play the role of Jesus. They would laugh and fight over the biggest bruise claiming it
to be theirs.
What I remember most is Adam was always wanting to do his best, he was always smiling and ready to pull a prank.
I will embrace the joy and the smiles he brought to me during the 2012 & 2015 Kingdom years.

Adam was a really great guy. He is missed and thought about often. I remember going to Mayflower to play paintball with him one time, and his brother Ryan came along also, wearing a computer box as armor. That box got destroyed at close range by another friend with a full auto paintball gun. I also remember playing Call of Duty (a video game) with Adam on a nightly basis back in the day. We had a lot of good conversations and laughs. Lastly, I remember getting our "Roman Guard" personas on while doing the kingdom. He wasn't in it this last go around, but he still came to a show and text me that night telling me not to step on him in the aisle. I just can't say enough about him. I'm saddened by his passing, but I know he knew and loved Jesus and because of that, we'll see him again. Rest in peace my brother.

Adam was such a fun guy! He loved the Lord and made him a priority in his life. He never left anyone out and made you feel like you were his friend the minute you met him. I remember hanging out with Adam and he loved talking about cars and the latest vehicle project he was working on. He made life fun and loved every minute of it. I know he will be missed and never forgotten. We will continue to pray for his family and those he affected; church friendships, co workers, and complete strangers.

My heart is broken. Adam was one of the sweetest little boys. He always remembered to thank me when I helped him with his work. He cared about his friends. He always wanted to help me with anything because he was the tallest boy in my class. I am sure that he was just like this as an adult. You will be missed Adam. It’s easy to understand why everyone loved Adam. My experience is no different than others in recognizing how special he was and what he will always mean to each of us. I will always treasure an email Adam sent me when my mother passed. Though he didn’t know her, he stated all the attributes he knew she must have had. Adam would have been surprised at the number of times I’ve read his email over the years and how much it really meant to me. I never thought I’d read his email today and realize that I could use Adam’s very own words to describe the kind of person he truly was so I will quote him. Adam was, “a giving person, a helpful person, a patient person, a person who listens, a cheerful person, a caring person, a loving person, and a person who makes people smile and made this world a better place.”

Sending prayers to the family and all who loved him. Adam will be greatly missed.

Adam was one of the most thoughtful and kind person that I have had the blessing and honor to get to know. Adam had an amazing gift of connecting with people and he did it with such grace and humbleness. Any time that you would talk with Adam, you would always feel better after speaking with him. He just had a way of bringing joy into a conversation along with a great sense of humor to any subject. The world needs more Adams and his loss is just heartbreaking to me personally. My family's prayers are with you all. There's no way I can understand what his family is going through or say something to ease their pain, so I just wanted to reflect on Adam.

I'm blessed that we were randomly placed as roommates in college and that I got to know him and his family. He and I were different in so many ways, but he was a great friend and roommate. He was always kind and earnest. He worked hard in school, yet he knew how to have fun with his friends via harmless pranks or blasting random music during "loud hour" of finals week. We got along so well, and I enjoyed getting to know him and his family throughout college.

Adam was a positive, kind man, a devoted Christian, and a proud son and brother.

The barrel, the tent decorations, the torches, etc. (the list could go on) were all signs of his creative ways and talents. And, he'd spend hours coming up with his creation and then stay for the event through the night.
