Linda Kay Mariner, 79, of Little Rock, went to her heavenly reward on Easter Sunday morning, April 21, 2019. She was born on January 4, 1940 in Beebe to the late Harlan E. Murray, Sr and Alice Moore Murray. Linda graduated from NLR Ole Main High School in 1958 and went on to receive her B.S in Music from Henderson State University. She was a church organist and taught piano for many years. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in North Little Rock. After serving as secretary for the Chief of Surgery at the Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, she went back and received her B.S. in Nursing from UALR in 1985 and worked as a nurse. She cared for patients at the Veterans Hospital in NLR and CARTI. Along with her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her brother, Harlan E. Murray, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Del Mariner, children; Lynda (Steve) Sherrill and Phillip (Judy) Mariner, grandchildren; Amanda (Trey) Skinner, Steven (Kassia) Sherrill, Angela Sherrill Merriott and Chris Merriott, Stephanie (Carolyn) Murry and Amber (Mike) Pirnique, great grandchildren; Hunter and Taylor Sherrill, Aidan and Baron Merriott, and Elizabeth and Olivia Carter, as well as her beloved pets.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 26 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Dollar officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Friday. Interment will follow at 3:00 P.M. at Beebe Cemetery in Beebe, AR.

Our deepest condolences to Phil and his entire family for their loss . I never had the privilege of knowing Linda but I always considered Phil a brother!

Grew up with Linda at Gardner!She played piano for my trio when Mrs. Allinder was unable to! She was a sweet and kind girl raised by two great parents!

Del and I worked very closely at Roller Funeral Homes for many years and it was my pleasure to visit with Linda on the telephone many times. I am sure Linda is making sweet beautiful music for our Lord and is experiencing pain free and wonderful health. We pray that our Lord will wrap His loving arms around Del, children, grandchildren and all other family members and friends and give you peace.
