I was so saddened to learn of Lora's death. I have been out of touch for the last few years, but I always counted her as a cherished friend. I remember all the fun times we had with our boys Chris, Matthew, and my John and Michael, carpooling to preschool. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. Sincerely, Karen Turner

Chris, Carrie and Pearce,

There are no words to tell you how sorry we are for the loss of your precious mom and GiGi. She was my sister, friend and role model. I am heartbroken. Lora was a blessing to all of us, her friends, patients and everyone she met. May you be comforted in knowing that she loved you, Carrie and Pearce from the bottom of her heart.

Love and prayers,
Sherel and Bob

No one could ever have a better or more generous friend! Lora & I were good friends for many years, and my head is filled with many memories we made together. She loved to laugh and appreciated zany comments and stories from me or certain other members of my family. Her kind heart prompted her to lavish love and say many prayers for those who were suffering. She loved Matthew, Chris and Carrie with an unconditional love, and she adored her precious grandson, Pearce. She also loved the Lord and tried to model His love to others. This wouldn’t be a true picture of Lora without mentioning her determination and strong will to live life to the fullest, even when most people with the disabilities she had would give up. Sometimes this came across as stubbornness, but this very trait enabled her to keep on keeping on. I know you are having great celebration with Matthew & Jesus! Till we meet again, dear friend.......

Lora is greatly missed but we all know she is in heaven rejoicing with Jesus—healthy and happy with Him and has had a wonderful reunion with Matthew and so many others. Dear Chris, Carrie, and Pearce. y'all have been such a help and support. Y'all are all being lifted in prayer as are Dr. Cliff and Edie.
Love in Christ,
Margaret
