of Little Rock, AR
November 7, 1990 - April 1, 2019
Aaron Wilkerson 28, went to be with the Lord, Monday, April 1, 2019. He was born on November 7, 1990 in Town and Country, Missouri to George and Connie Wilkerson. Aaron graduated from Pulaski Academy and Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Dallas. He was the owner of Middle Matters Food Truck and worked as a Chef in numerous restaurants.
As those that knew him can attest, Aaron was always smiling and making everyone around him feel special. Sadly, he wasn't always able to do that for himself. Aaron specifically stated that he didn't view this as defeat, but as a chance to go be with UP and AJ and to watch over the rest of us until we rejoin him in heaven. His understanding of this, even at such a desperate moment, gives the family some comfort. Him making the effort to ensure we know that was just Aaron.
Aaron dearly loved spending time with his family and giving ''Mommy'' big huge bear hugs. Everyone got nicknames, including ''Sarita'' and ''Ding-Ling''. He was passionate about his cooking, enjoyed fishing and hunting with special friends or ''The Dub'' and snowboarding and hiking were his favorite ways to enjoy nature. Stories about all of those are too numerous to list and too happy to appear here. He will be missed as much as he loved.
Aaron was preceded in death by his aunt and uncle, whom he dearly loved; Rev. Pat and Jamie Wilkerson, his grandmother, Yvonne Cooper and his Aunt Helen Albright. He is survived by his parents; George and Connie Wilkerson; two siblings; Sarah Wilkerson and Staff Sergeant Chance Wilkerson (Hillary), grandparents; Rev. Joe and Patty Wilkerson, Billy Cooper, uncles; Dennis Cooper and Donnie Wilkerson.
A Memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 6, 2019 in the chapel of Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock.

My deepest condolences to your family. In my brief meeting of Aaron at his food truck last weekend, he was so kind and I enjoyed the dishes he made. I’m very sorry for your loss.
RIP to a brilliant, smart, talented individual. We worked closely together from 2014 to 2016 in the Heritage Grill and Room Service Division of Little Rock Marriott. He always was so fun, spirited, and always motivated us to do our best as a team. H ed was also a part of my middle journey of my 100 lb. weight loss. When I tried to givd in to their fries, he would make my salad. He was always encouraging and caring. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Wilkerson Family. May he find peace in heaven.
I am shocked and saddened to hear this. I've worked with Aaron and his food truck for several months. He was so friendly, and a very talented and creative cook. There will definitely be a void in our community and in our hearts. Prayers that the Lord's comfort surround his friends and family in the coming days.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what you all are going through.
I have the most vivid memories of Aaron (aka "Mowgli")! He and Sarah and my girls, Kelsey and Mackenzie, spent many hours together as kids.
I remember George and I meeting for lunch at the Peabody and Aaron proudly serving us. I remember him playing pool and swimming with his buds.
I remember that giant damn raccoon that he shot! :)
He will always be in my memories. He will always be loved. He will forever be missed.
George, Connie, and Sarah. I am so so sad to hear this news. I have such happy memories of Aaron as a little boy and his vibrant smile and energy. I pray the Lord holds you close and comforts you in any way he can. My prayers are with you. Kara

Aaron was such a beautiful person and I’m going to miss him so much. I love the Wilkerson family and I’ve very lucky to have met Aaron and him introduce me to such an incredible family. I love you guys. Praying for you all.
Connie and George,
While the loss of a loved one is never easy, it is most certainly the hardest when they are taken from us too soon. The loss of Aaron, who has left us at such a youthful age is definitely in the category of those hard losses for which there is so painful a reminder of what might have been.
We offer our sincere condolence and deepest sympathy on your loss. may the outpouring of sympathy, the kind acts of friends and and family and the comfort in knowing that your loss felt by many, help you through this difficult time.
I ask for God's blessings on you and your wonderful family. May you find the courage and strength to move forward in peace and confidence and in knowing that his was a life well-lived.
Love
Kim (Cooper)Weeks
My heart breaks for all of you. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sending lots of love your way.
From the time that he was a boy leaving worship at the Asbury congregation, Aaron always had the "smile" for his pastor. He has made us happy and his memory will help to ease the pain of his loss. Our prayers for his family will be for the Peace which is beyond understanding.
We are sending our heartfelt prayers.
While we only knew Aaron for a short time, we were impressed by his thoughtfulness and kindness and blessed by his delicious food! The last time we saw him was at the Main Street Food Truck festival last year. We were one of MANY buying from the Middle Matters that day and Aaron continued to serve others with his memorable smile! I think it was a great day for his business. I know our friends were impressed!
May the love and peace of Christ surround you, protect you and carry you in the coming days. - James, Katie, Henry and Hattie Walden (Andrew Watson's Sister's Family)
