Melba Robbins Bussell, of Little Rock, age 90, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Good Shepherd Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on April 29, 1928, to Bufford and Addie Robbins in Willow, Arkansas. She attended Sparkman Schools, graduating in 1946. In 1948, she married her high school sweetheart, Glenn, and they had 56 wonderful years together until his death in 2005. She then taught for the next 22 years in both the Emerson and the Magnolia School Systems. In 2008, she moved to Little Rock to be near her family. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the Grace Sunday School Class. She loved her family, her church, her music, her plants, and until her health prevented her, she loved to travel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Bussell; three brothers, Lewie Robbins, Bill Robbins and Donnie Robbins; and three sisters, Charline Copeland, Rosa Lee Criswell and Martha Nell Robbins.
