Norma June Perry

of Little Rock, AR

October 19, 1930 - November 18, 2018

Norma June Perry passed away peacefully Sunday morning, November 18, 2018, at the age of 88.

Norma was born in Houston, Texas, the only child of Murrah and Edith Robertson and grew up in Norman, OK. She attended Norman High School and the Draughon School of Business. She worked as a secretary for the Highway Department in Oklahoma City where she met her future husband, William K. Perry, who precedes her in death.

Norma and Bill married and had three children, Susan Barclay (Bruce), Daniel (Beatrice) and Jeannie Beck (Paul), five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Norma was an avid reader and enjoyed reading every spare moment she had. She was a dedicated volunteer in her children's schools and, along with Bill, continued to volunteer with the LR Central band long after their youngest graduated. She enjoyed travel, especially when visiting her kids and grandkids. She had a soft spot in her heart for animals, riding horses in her youth and adopting numerous dogs and cats over the years. She never met a stranger and was quick to offer a smile to everyone she encountered.

We are grateful to House of Three, Kindred Hospice and all those who kindly cared for her.

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the words spoken at Revelation 21:3,4 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".
