Myrtis Carruth, 83, of Benton, Arkansas, died Sunday, September 9, 2018. She was born on December 26, 1934 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Leon G. Noble and Myrtle Bond Noble.

She loved spending time with her family and watching television. Myrtis worked many years as a secretary for the United States Department of Labor Apprenticeship and Training program. She was of the Baptist faith.

Myrtis is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Leslie E. Carruth and John A. Thomas Jr.; son, Randy Thomas and brother, Leon G. Noble, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Watkins of Benton; grandchildren, Robby Jones of Sardis, Justin Jones and Lindsey Jones, both of Benton, John Thomas (Tonya) of Little Rock and Jacob Thomas of Lockport, Illinois; step-grandchildren, Matt Watkins, Nathan Watkins, both of East End; and Mendy Quire (Chad) of Paron; great-grandchildren, Amelia Smith and Isabella Jones; and sister, Laura Jeanette Lee of Fair Grove, Missouri.

Graveside Service will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 AR-5, Alexander, Arkansas, 72002. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the Garden Room at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home.

My mother n law was a special a sweet lady to me for several years. She was a strong lady . I loved her dearly and she will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family. I have alot of memories with this lady and they will never be forgotten.
