Jerry Bruce Rowlett, 67, lifelong resident of Guy went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 6, 2019. He was born April 10, 1952 in Conway, Arkansas to the late Roy Bruce and Hermie Ellen Hughes Rowlett. Jerry worked many years in construction and at his family owned store, Guy General Store; but his work history began and ended with his love for cattle farming. He was a member of Quitman Church of Christ.
Jerry is survived by his son, Justin Bruce Rowlett and wife Krystal of Enola, daughter, Tabitha Ellen Kinggard and husband Jesse of Springhill, seven grandchildren, Sage Murphy, Haley Hall, Dillon Earnhart, Colby Kinggard, Macey Lee, Seth Lee and Emalee Beard,five great grandchildren, sister, Frances Kathryn Money of Florida, two brothers, Jim Edward Rowlett and wife Tamara and John Mark Rowlett and wife Kim both of Guy, and many more family and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Funeral Service will begin Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Funeral Home with Bro. Lynn Burford officiating.
Jerry Bruce will be missed by so many. I know I will miss him terribly.
I am so going to miss my friend. He always called me Little Bopeep because we have sheep. He always had a big ole smile for me, especially when I was aggravating his guard dog. I will always smile when I think of him and his great big â¤!!!
So sad to hear of Jerry Bruce's passing. He was always a great guy. I love visiting with him and catching up when I saw him on visits home.Prayers for peace and comfort for family and those close to Jerry Bruce.Justice for those who stole from them.

I last saw Jerry Bruce the day before his passing at lunchtime at Thunderbirds. As always we were laughing and joking around and just had a good time. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. He will be missed a lot by all of us.
I can’t say that I have met Jerry but my good friend Tammi Rossi told me a lot about Jerry and his store, and his families. I am sorry for his passing and I’m praying for all of you.

Jerry Bruce was a good and kind man. He always had a warm smile and a pleasant greeting for me, or any of my family. May God bless him with eternal rest in a heavenly mansion.
I grew up knowing Jerry Bruce. I am so sorry to hear of his passing...I saw him just a few months ago and had a good visit...prayers for the family
