Tony Allen Thurman, 57, of Rose Bud went to be with the Lord, Thursday May 30, 2019. He was born May 14, 1962 in Peru, Indiana to David and Linda Thurman. Tony was in the US Air Force for 14 years where he served in Operation Desert Storm and earned the Airman's medal. He retired from Fort Roots VA Medical Center. Tony was a godly man with strong faith; his family was always his priority. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. Tony will be missed dearly by his family, but they are comforted knowing he is playing ball with Keagan in Heaven now.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Linda Thurman, three daughters, Erica (Chris) Hollin, Amber (Harley) May and Emily (Tony) Harris, eight grandchildren, Kiersten, Kiley, Allison, Kaidence, Wyatt, Tagen, Aspen and Birdie, parents, David and Linda Thurman, brother, David Douglas, three sisters, Tambra, Rebecca and Deborah and many more family and friends.
Tony is preceded in death by his grandson, Keagan, and sister, Sharon.
Memorial Service will be Monday, June 3, 2019 at 5:00PM at Rose Bud First Baptist Church with Visitation One Hour Prior.

I worked with Toney at the VA at Ft. Roots. I am sorry to hear about this and know he will be greatly missed. I retired soon after he became foreman of the shop.
