Nathan Louis McKinney, 70, of Bigelow, Arkansas, passed away on June 30, 2020. He was born July 16, 1949, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Louis Nathan and Phyllis McKinney.
Nathan was a 1967 graduate of Bigelow High School. He joined the Navy after school and served on the USS Constellation, USS Walker and the USS Small during Vietnam. Nathan retired after many years at Union Pacific Railroad; and worked as a consultant for Johnson Brothers Construction. He was a loving son, brother, husband, daddy, papaw, uncle and friend.
Nathan was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Judy Dickens McKinney; daughter, Brandi (Daniel) Bourne; son, Nathan (Amber) Dickens; six grandchildren, Cameron, Julia, Emerson, Wyatt, Reese and Nathan; brother, Tom McKinney; sister, Diane McKinney, and many more family a friends.
A Memorial Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00pm Monday, July 6, 2020, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
Roller-McNutt Funeral Homes are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funerals and visitations to 100 people at one time.
All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
Mark and I are sorry for Nathan’s passing. The times we were around him, Nathan was always a calm, quiet presence in the room. We can tell he loved all of his family, especially his grandchildren. â¤ï¸ He will be missed.
My brother you were so much to me. You were a friend who cared,a teacher who thought me many things,an advisor who tried to keep me right. I loved you more than you knew, I will miss you. Thank you for all you have done for me and my family.I will love and miss you..
