Rex Guy Lyons, 82, of Enola, AR, went to meet his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, October 2, 2019. He was born February 18, 1937, in Los Angeles, CA, to the late Robert and Virginia Lyons. Rex was also preceded in death by his sister, Letty Lyons Johnson and brother-in-law, Sam Johnson.
Rex graduated from California Polytechnic State University. He worked many years for the City of Little Rock Department of Planning and Development as a plans examiner before retiring to his home in Enola, Arkansas. Rex was a loving husband, wonderful father and a sweet grandfather.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family; his wife of 60 years, Jackie Lyons; his daughter, Kathy Ussery and her husband, Eugene of Sherwood, AR; his son, Guy Lyons and his wife, Mary of North Little Rock, AR; his grandchildren, Bryce Ussery and his wife Kristen, Kathryn Pledger and her husband, Darren, Nathaniel Lyons, Zoe Lyons, Elijah Lyons and Isaac Lyons; and his great-grandchildren, Grady, Bennett and Landon Pledger; and a host of family and friends.
A funeral service will be at 1:00pm, Saturday, October 5, 2019, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with visitation one hour prior starting at noon, interment to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway.

Rex, was an awesome man. He was always willing to help anyone he could and was loved by his community and many friends. I loved and respected him for over 40 years. My prayers for peace and comfort go out to his family at this time. Much love to you all!
