Dearest Hughes Family, due to the generosity of Ladycat Volleyball we were brought together for an event that changed all our lives. One highlight of the event was meeting and getting to know Kim. She was beautiful, kind and so very faithful. She was brave in her battle and a soldier for god every step of the way. She prayed for our son and for our family amidst her own struggles. It has been an absolute privilege knowing your wife, your mother, your daughter, your sister. May the lord give you everything you need to get through this enormous loss. We will be praying.

It was a pure pleasure to know and teach with Kim! She was such a fine person. Haley, Reed, and Greg, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Greg, Reed and Hailey,
Your mom was a great blessing to me in my life. She was one of a very few people I know who lived her best life all the time. She was funny, faithful and full of love for us all. She could gripe too, but she always chastised herself and didn't get too carried away unlike most of us when we want to complain. Before I really knew her, I always loved seeing her and Jacob in a workshop because they loved math and they were such a hoot together. She was so smart and thoughtful, yet never felt like an expert or like we should all want to hear what she had to say. We knew better. I would not have enjoyed my life over the last 15 years nearly as much without her. I hope you are able to let the time you had always bring strength, even though grief may make you feel weak. It is ok to be joyous in the knowledge of her true salvation in Jesus, and still feel really sorry for yourself and your loss. Love to you guys.
Kim was truly a special lady who impacted many of our lives. The Arkansas Math Specialists family will miss her smile and positive outlook on life.
My prayers go with Kim's family.
Kimberly has left me with so many warm memories of her strength and character. Her courage has been inspirational. An angel now has her wings.
Kim was a precious girl, with a God filled Spirit.
It has been a pleasure to know Kim all through the years I've been at Greenbrier. She was always willing to help her fellow math teachers and give so many wonderful ideas and support. She would lift you up when you were starting to doubt yourself and always make you smile. I always enjoyed being in her workshops because of her wonderful personality and love of laughter. She will be missed! Your family is in my prayers!
Hailey was the first Hughes I met and I loved her crazy sweet self! When I met Kim I know where Hailey got her kindness and sweetness from. Kim was always so kind to me and to my kids. Love you Hailey and family. Our eternal home will forever connect us to her.
Prayers for everyone! Kim was an amazing person!
She was one of my favorite teachers... always hard on me, but I liked it. She had a role model family. Sending my deepest condolences to Coach, her children, and other friends and family members.
Greg and family, praying for strength and rest as you walk thru your life’s next steps. Kim was a joy to so many.
Continued prayers for this beautiful family. Kim was one of the most amazing people I have ever met. She never wavered in her belief and the love and pride she had for her family was beautiful. I enjoyed hearing stories about the four legged babies. We shared many stories and pictures during lunch and she made me smile every single time.
My sweet friend; I'm so going to miss you, but I am so glad you are healed and in the arms of Jesus! Praying for Greg, Hailey, and Reed!!!
