Jimmie ''Joe'' Bradley passed away July 17, 2019 in Conway, Arkansas at the age of 91. He was born June 11, 1928 in Formosa Arkansas. He was the son of the late Bruce and Bessie (Fullerton) Bradley. He was preceded in death by his wife June Bradley of 67 years and his sister Katherine Stroud.
Joe was a long-time member of Robinson and Center Church of Christ. He graduated from Formosa High School and the University of Arkansas with a B.S. and Master Degree in General Agriculture. After college he spent five years teaching farming practices to returning World War II veterans. He was then employed by the State of Arkansas through the Cooperative Extension Service for 33 years. He served one year as president of the County Agents' Association. While in Cleburne County he helped form the Greers Ferry Lake Association to consolidate and strengthen promotion of the lake. He also was instrumental in forming the ''Ozark Frontier Festival'' in Heber Springs. Joe's achievements and recognition in his years of work with the extension service were numerous.
Survivors include a son, David Bradley (Denise) and a daughter, Jolynn Godkin. One nephew Brad Stroud (Marcie). Three granddaughters, Ericka French (Bobby), Kristin Nelson (Chris), and Samantha Godkin. Six great-grandchildren, Kylee French, Lucas French, Logan French, Abby Nelson, Nick Harvey, and Nate Harvey.
Visitation will be 6pm to 8pm Friday, July 19th at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Graveside service will be 10am Saturday at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
