Peggy B. Tolliver

of North Little Rock, AR

January 11, 1939 - June 7, 2019

Peggy Bryant Tolliver, of North Little Rock, passed away June 7, 2019. She was born January 11, 1939, in Vilonia, Arkansas, to Bessie and Ennis Bryant. Affectionately called GG by her grandkids and great-grandkids she was known by everyone for her big beautiful smile.

Peggy met Jim Tolliver in a cotton patch in Vilonia. Jim chased her for a long time, unable to catch her. One day she decided that she had better slow down for him the rest is history. She spent the last 61 years making a house a home that was always open to everyone. Peggy devoted her life to her husband and their two children.

Peggy retired from Oak Grove Elementary after 31 years and then spent her time with her husband running the family business. Customers always say they have never seen a prettier face in an auto body shop. Her style was legendary and perfectly put together from head to toe every day. It comes as no surprise that her favorite hobbies were taking walks with her husband and shopping.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and her brother, Alex Bryant. She is survived by her husband, Jim Tolliver of North Little Rock; her sister-in-law, Edalyene Bryant of Mountainburg; her daughter, Cindy Patrom (Kevin) and her son, Jimmy Tolliver, both of North Little Rock; also, 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren all of North Little Rock.

Peggy was a lifelong member of Fuller Chapel Primitive Baptist and lover of the Lord.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm at Roller McNutt in Conway with funeral services to follow at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 12th at 1:00 pm. Committal will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway.

To our Lord who holds the stars into Your arms she lives forever.

Mrs. Peggy was one of the sweetest, kindest, Godliest women I have ever met. She always had a kind word for everyone, even in the worst of situations. She definitely lifted your spirit by her presence and always had Godly advice and words of wisdom when needed. She was an absolute precious soul.

The big memory I'll take away from Peggy Tolliver was that she was always pleasant and always seemed to be smiling. She was always positive when I was around her. I pray God gives you strength as you go through the days ahead; I know she will be terribly missed. God bless you all.

I just saw this in the paper. I am in shock because I just saw her a couple of months ago at the body shop. She was as beautiful as ever. I have used Tolliver's Body Shop off & on for at least the last 40 years. Every time I have been there she and Jim were always so friendly, nice and just so enjoyable to be around.

So, to Jim and all of their family & friends: I am so very sorry for your loss. She will truly be missed and Tolliver's will never be the same without her smiling face.

God bless all of you at this sad time.

Lifting your family in prayer. Praying that God will ease the pain of this loss and send comfort to you all. Mrs. Peggy was one of a kind. I worked with her for 10 years at OGE and her smile brightened the office and the day for eveyone that walked into it. She will be missed by many here on earth, but the angels in heaven are rejoicing that she has come home.

Its with a sad heart that this wonderful, gentle, loving soul has passed. She was special to many that passed through those double doors. Peggy blessed, loved & hugged many .... she took care of many ....she placed many band aides, gave many ice packs and just loved and made a difference in many lives. She was one of a kind. Always a smile! Beautiful soul she was and will always be remembered. May God comfort you all !
