Thomas Riley ''Buddy'' Fulmer, 89, of Conway, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 26, 2019. He was born July 17, 1929 in Greenbrier to the late Thomas Riley Fulmer and Jennie Green (Spears) Fulmer. Buddy was also preceded in death by his nephew, Kevin Dale Reynolds, and step-father, Kermit Charles Johnson.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 68 years, Abb Mae (Martin) Fulmer, three daughters, Deborah Evatt of Jacksonville, Iris Brewer (Michael), and Dorothy Stewart both of Conway, four grandchildren, Rob Evatt of Maumelle, Chuck Evatt of Jacksonville, Nikki Stewart of Conway, and Hayley Chance of Morrilton, ten great-grandchildren, Ellen, David, Olivia, Audrey, Jadin, Joslin, Josiah, Angel, Bella, Bow (Bo), three sisters, Hazel Reynolds of Sherwood, Martha Curtis of Newark, NJ, and Pat Wolf of Jacksonville, two brothers, Terry Fulmer of Scott and Jerry Fulmer of Batesville, four nieces, Lisa, Melanie, Brenda, and Gilda, and two nephews, Buck and Jody.
Buddy was of the Church of Christ faith and after graduating from Centerville High School, he went to work with the Coca Cola Co. in Little Rock and was employed there for 20 years. Later after his retirement from the United States Postal Service of 23 years of service, he was employed part time with Wal-Mart for five years. Buddy was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, gardening, mowing lawns, cutting wood, and feeding his hummingbirds. He also enjoyed reading, music, watching western movies and making peanut and pecan brittle, which everyone enjoyed. Most of all Buddy loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be at 12pm Friday, February 1, 2019 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with funeral services following at 1pm. Charles Wesley ''Chuck'' Evatt and Robert Thomas Evatt will be officiating. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Pickens, Melanie Reynolds, Keith Anderson, Terry Fulmer, Tim Brewer, and Gene Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Faulkner County Library.
We will sure miss our sweet cousin! Glad reunion day in heaven!
