Donald Lee Hester, 74, of Conway, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. He was born Wednesday, May 10, 1944 in Plumerville, Arkansas to the late Lonnie and Leola Askins Hester.
Mr. Hester was a graduate of Conway High School where he was a football standout and was selected to play in the Arkansas High School All Star game. He was a car salesman, he loved riding motorcycles, but most of all he loved spending time with his family especially the grandchildren. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Conway and a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in Okinawa during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and three sisters.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 56 years, Brenda Nelle Farley Hester; a son, Kevin Hester and his wife Melissa of Greenbrier; grandchildren, Drew Hester (Amber), Ben Hester (Schylar), Alex Stringer, Colby Linn and Sydney Hester; great-grandchildren, Parker Hester, Mason Hester, Piper Hester and Ace Hester; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be 12 noon to 1:00PM, Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral service will follow at 1:00PM in the Chapel with Dr. Jason Aultman officiating. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
