Spencer G. Compton, 65, of Conway, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 16, 2019. He was born July 23, 1953 in Pine Bluff to the late D.L. and Rita A. Poor Compton. Spencer was also preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Compton and sister, Denise Culbertson.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 47 years, Sarah Compton, two daughters, Brandy Dillinger and Sherrie Compton, granddaughter, Haley Tougas, sister, Angela Tackett and brothers, Bill, Jeff, and Kerry Compton.
Spencer retired from International Paper after 25 years of employment. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his only grandchild, Haley, who he was crazy about and she was the apple of his eye.

Praying for Spencer's family and friends that God will grant peace to them.
My Dad, Forrest was the oldest but my kids got Uncle Denzil and Daddy mixed up...once when Spencer was small we went to visit and Spencer ran down yelling "Daddy!"..didn't realize it was his Uncle until he picked him up!! Kinda scared him for a second lol.
