Throndia Nell Cook, 71, of Conway, finished her journey January 7, 2019. She was born December 11, 1947, in El Dorado, AR, to the late Marshall and Clemmie Cook. Throndia enjoyed teaching crafts, music, and dancing. She participated in Native American ceremonies and loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Throndia is survived by her two daughters, Sherry (James) McKnight and Terra Stuart; five grandchildren, Brandon (Jessica) Porter, Benjamin (Paige) Porter, Emily Castleberry, Samuel Castleberry, and Christina Curtis; two great grandchildren, Emrys and Gage, with one more on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lawanna Thessing.
A Graveside Service will be held 2:30 PM Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway.

Throndia fought the fight and was at peace with the outcome was not what we all wanted. She is missed by all who met and knew her. Peace to her family. We miss her at church, her soft voice, she tried to be upbeat in spite of things.
