April 11, 1938 - November 14, 2018

Joan Marie Butcher received her wings November 14, 2018 and is now flying high with her Lord. She was born April 11, 1938 in Des Moines, Iowa to the late John and Dorothy Haines. Joan worked for Kimberly Clark, West Gipson, and retired after many years at Ellen Smith Elementary School. She was a member of Graham Chapel Methodist Church in Conway.

Joan is survived by two daughters, Dorothy (Mick) Bates and Rebecca (Paul) Wofford, grandchild, Amanda Bates, five grandchildren, Jasmine Dixon, John Dixon, Neveah and Hailey Easter, Katie Yard, sister, Mary Lanning and a host of family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Darrell Butcher, Daughter, Donna Hance, and great grandchild, Isaiah Easter.

Visitation will be Monday, November 19, 2018 from 6:00- 8:00PM at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Graveside Service will begin at 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at New Liberty Cemetery in Conway.

I knew Aunt Joan, Uncle Shorty and cousins Becky and Donna when the family lived near me in Iowa. Becky and Donna were still children. I just found out that Joan passed away after many health issues. I'm so sorry for her family. You are in my prayers.
