Lewis was an honorable man, full of character and integrity. I worked with Lewis many days at McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, and he was a genuine friend.
What an amazing legacy Lewis leaves in his wonderful family, and in the countless lives he touched in Faulkner county and beyond. He remains a true inspiration to those of us with aspirations of caring for others as funeral professionals. Be at rest, good and faithful servant. May your kindness, wit, compassion, live on in all of us who you took under your wing and taught well.
We were so very sorry to learn of Lewis’s passing. Lewis was a very good and reliable friend throughout the years. We will always remain very grateful to Lewis for all his kindness and compassion when we had to bid farewell to family members. Lewis was a very special man who will be dearly missed.

Almost 38 years ago, I had changed professions and started serving my apprenticeship at McNutt Funeral Home. I lived upstairs in the little apartment across the hall from the Karber family, Carl and Gretchen. I always enjoyed being around Lewis and watched him closely as he interacted with the families we served. He became my mentor without his knowledge; some of the mannerisms I have today developed from what I learned watching him. When I was about to leave for school in Dallas, he invited me over for a farewell dinner. Freedia had cooked all of my favorites and it was a meal and time that has always remained special in my memories. My heart goes out to you all over the loss of this very special man. He will always be a part of my life and to all the lives he touched at his place at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.
Thought ‘s and Prayers go out to Lewis and his family. Good Man and Very well Respected Person. He will be missed
Lewis’s life is a example of love and service to his Lord, family, and country, the many, many lives he has touched will never be known. I only knew of his career in funeral service of which he was a true professional giving of himself with compassion to each family he served. To his loving family I offer my sincere condolences and pray our Lord wraps His loving arms around each and every one of you.
Lewis was a good friend to many people within the Conway and Faulkner county community. When Lewis was involved with funeral arrangements of a loved one, everyone knew everything would be done correctly, with the utmost respect and with a caring heart.

I am sorry for your loss and will be praying for the family. Lewis was a special person and loved by all who knew him. May God bless you in the days ahead.
Freedia and family. You are in my prayers. He was a special
Man to Rickey and myself. Remember the good times.
Please accept my sincere condolences upon the passing of a true legend in funeral service. Not only did Lewis help with the funerals of my own family members, he was a shining example to me of what a true, caring and compassionate funeral service professional should be. I always looked up to him as someone to imitate throughout my years with the Roller Funeral Homes of Arkansas. I would be at the funeral to pay my respects, but I cannot leave my wife who is wheel chair-bound after breaking her leg, and her 90-year-old mother who lives with us. May the Lord comfort you at this time.

Retired Roller Regional Manager
Lewis was the kindest person I knew, he took me under his wing when I worked with CFI and Roller. He always had a smile on his face for me and all the families that he served. Lewis Winter will be dearly missed by many.
Lewis will be missed by the entire community surrounding Conway. He supported SO many of us through the loss of loved ones in a very special way. He was a very caring and compassionate person and touched so many lives. Glad he is with our heavenly Father and I am sure he heard the words "Well done thy good and faithful servant" as soon as he arrived. God bless his family.

It was sad to hear about the death of Lewis. I had the honor of working with him at Roller McNutt in Conway. His experience and wisdom was greatly appreciated and I gleaned so much from it. God bless the family as they go though this difficult time.
I am deeply sorry for your loss and will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. Mr. Lewis helped my family through many hard times as we said goodbye to all our family members. I remember meeting him as a teenager at Roller McNutt when my mother had passed away. He was always so kind, caring and understanding and my dad and grandparents thought very highly of him.
May God be with you and carry each of you through this difficult time.

Freedia & family: I am an admiring cousin to Lewis----on his mother's--the Keathleys----side. Lewis came to our Keathley reunions in Conway many times., Too, we viksited him while he worked at the funeral home. He was a very friendly and savvy gentleman whom I had many interesting coversations.
I spent nearly forty years researching and chronicling the Tennessee Keathleys----and had a lot of help from Lewis.
If any of the family is interested in the Keathley family history, you can email me. The funeral home now has my email address or you can write me at 422 E. Prospect ST #15 , Aurora, MO 65605

Like so many others, I did not know Mr Lewis personally but thru his calling (job) at Roller McNutt. Unfortunately, we had to be there too many times in a short 10 year period. He made the experience bearable and showed so much compassion. I will always be grateful for him being their for my family.

Mr. Lewis, You were an inspiration to us all. I will always remember our many talks in the garden room at Roller-McNutt. When I first started, you were still in recovery from a stroke and even though you were struggling with speech, you took the time to talk to this "young man" and share your wisdom. Your guidance helped to shape me into the funeral director that I am today. The people of Faulkner County, the men and women of our profession, and countless others will never be able to measure your value to each of us. I am deeply saddened of your passing and yet I am also assured that you are rejoicing with Lisa, which gives me great comfort.
Freida, I am so very sorry for your loss. I thought the world of Lewis & you know Billie loved him like a brother. I know Billie & Lisa will welcome him to heaven. May God wrap you & your family in his arms & comfort you.
