What was NOT to love about Lois? First, she was a nurse. I am a nurse and I always loved hearing her stories and trading some of my own. I never saw her without her hair done, her face made up and lipstick in place. She was such a lady, in EVERY sense of the word. She loved to laugh, enjoyed a nice drink, loved a beautiful bouquet of flowers, enjoyed outings and had a whole bevy of girlfriends because she, herself, was a good friend. She was always interesting and interested. She loved talking about WWII and the role she played. She wrote beautiful notes and letters and I will be forever grateful for her kindnesses toward my three children.
I can see her now, sitting in Heaven with a nice drink and surrounded by all of her friends. I hear her laughing and for that I am so happy. Bless you, Lois, you deserve the rest. God knows, you earned it.
