Marcille H Breeding

of Conway, AR

September 25, 1937 - May 23, 2018

Marcille (House) Breeding had her dreams come true Wednesday, May 23, 2018. She finally met Jesus after a courageous fight against dementia.

Marcille was born at Mt. Vernon, Arkansas on September 25, 1937 to Lit and Iley House, who preceded her in death. She was the youngest of 12 children. She was also preceded in death by two sisters (Vina Belle Harlan, Doralee ''Dodie'' Anderson), five brothers (Orval House, Kennard House, Dewey House, and two infant twins), and one granddaughter (Kali Sparks).

She was a faithful member of Robinson and Center church of Christ. She married Sherrill Bradley Breeding in 1955. They have two daughters - Sonya Smith (Larry Joe) and Rhonda Sparks (Michael), five grandkids - Sara Kathryn Bowers (Evan), Amy Smith (Cory), Natalie Smith, Bradley Claassen (Lydia), and Kali Sparks, and four great-grandkids (Ileybeth, Ellis, Matilda, and Lynnley - due in September). She is also survived by three sisters, Ardean, Beulah and Clara Mae and one brother, Huey, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Marcille Breeding moved through this world sweetly, leaving a bit of grace on everyone she touched. She taught world bible school, children's church classes, ladies classes and vacation bible school. She ministered to the sick and shut ins, cooked meals for every occasion, never met a stranger, and always had kind words for people. She had a quick wit, adored children, and was full of words of wisdom. Marcille loved Jesus, Sherrill, her family and Elvis. Although we are rejoicing for the assurance of her victory, we can't help but feel this realm is diminished for losing her.

Pallbearers are: Bradley Claassen, Larry Joe Smith, Michael Sparks, Don Harlan, Rod Harlan, Curtis Sawrie, Evan Bowers, and Cory Smith. Honorary pallbearer is Huey House.

Funeral services will be at Roller McNutt Funeral Home, 650 Central Landing, Conway, AR on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 1:00 with visitation at 12:00. Private family burial will be at Crestlawn Cemetery.

Dear Uncle Sherrill, Sonya, Rhonda and families,
I first remember Aunt Marcille when we visited Arkansas and I was 5, so she would have been 10. Even though I only got to see my Arkansas relatives periodically, I always so looked forward to spending time with her and catching up on all the family. I remember us staying up half the night more than once, just talking. I always thought she was an angel, and now she truly is. She'll be missed but we know God has plans for her, and I'm sure she is having a great time catching up with all who have gone up before her....Love you Aunt 'Cille! ~Jean

Marcille and her husband, Sherrill, were stationed in Nurnberg, Germany when my husband, Glenn, (deceased) and I were there as missionaries to the German and military people. Marcille was such a joy to both Germans and Americans. She attended church faithfully. She was a special person, and I know the family will miss her. Later I found out that Marcille was related to Lameta McMillen, my sister's daughter-in-law. I am happy to have this connection.
My Deepest Sympathy to family and friends. Heaven is blessed with her presence there.
Love, Kathryn Olbricht

My deepest sympathy to Marcille's family. I have many fond memories of Marcille. She was a wonderful Christian woman, a great example of what a wife and mother should be. She was devoted and strong. She had a great sense of humor and was funny. She loved her family dearly. She has truly left a wonderful legacy behind. When I think of her, I will always smile. Rest easy sweet lady...a good and faithful servant. You will be missed. Romans 8:28

My deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time. I hope the words at Rev.21:4 bring you comfort. It says: "God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

So sorry to hear of Marcille's passing. What a true, quiet spiritual giant. One of my spiritual heroes! She was so faithful. A true example of a believer living her faith and bringing her husband to faith.
I am reminded of the words of Ecclesiastes 7:1, "A good name is better than fine perfume, and the day of death better than the day of birth." May 23 was Marcille's best day!
What a spiritual legacy she has left all of you. I pray God's presence and peace with the family and the R & C family. Your loss is heaven's gain. I wish I could be there to celebrate her life!
I wil be there in spirit.

Sherill, Sonya, Rhonda and family, my heart cries with you, but praising our Lord that she is in His arms today. We are praying for comfort and peace for y’all. My favorite memory is seeing her choice of color in the formal living room, her amazing smile, and being with me when we found out about daddy’s cancer. She was so loving, kind, and friendly. I cried for her when Elvis died. Love to y’all.
