So sorry for your loss may you find peace and comfort in the words spoken at
2 Corinthians 1:3 & 4" Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort,  who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God

I met Darrell Kilman when I was a math student at UCA. He was my favorite professor in math. He was always kind and cheerful and helpful He always helped me with anything I did not understand. I tried hard to take as many classes with Dr. Kilman as I could take. I needed more hours for a pay raise, I did have a masters degree and found several classes that were available for teacher in math that he taught. I always enjoyed going to that class. The last time I saw him, we talked. Made me smile that he still knew him.

Anneil and Family,

Deborah and I are grieved and saddened by your loss. Darrell was a guide to me as a callow young professor, a person who was a touchstone as to what was right and wrong in both teaching and life. He helped shape what I am and will always be part of me. I have so many good memories of this caring and good man and they are such a comfort at this time.

Ray and I are sadden by the loss of a great teacher and a wonderful friend of fifty years. We send our thoughts and prayers to the Kilman family. We cherish many fond memories of Dr. Kilman's kindness. Although he was a master of his course content and held students to a high standard, he was always encouraging and understanding of his students. One outstanding characteristic that showed how much Dr. Kilman cared for his students was that he followed us long after we had graduated and had become educators ourselves. I will never forget how, many years ago, he sought me out at a gathering I happened to be at in Conway to tell me that students I had taught at North Little Rock High School always did well in math at UCA. His stamp of approval meant so much to me!

Mr. Kilman’s family, we are sorry for your loss. But more so, 1 Peter 5:7 says Almighty God cares for you and 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 tells us that He, the hearer of prayer, consoles and encourages us in any kind of distress.
