Xong Yang, 103, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2020 at her home in Knoxville, Arkansas. Xong was born on September 11, 1916 in Xieng Khoua, Loas to Mr. Pao Lee and Xo Vang. She was preceded by her husband Yia Yang, and her parents, Pao Lee and Xo Vang, one daughter Va Yang, and two brothers.
She is survived by her son, Tou Yang of Knoxville, Arkansas; one daughter, Goua Yang of Oiroville, California; sixteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; two sisters, Ying Lee and Yer Lee of Eau Claire, WI; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will begin on Saturday, June 26, 2020 at 7:00 a.m. at the Logan County Fairgrounds, service will conclude on Sunday, June 28, 2020. Burial will follow at the Havana Cemetery.
We are complying with the Arkansas Department of Health guidelines and limiting indoor funeral and visitation attendance to 50 people at one time. All attendees must provide and wear their own masks before entering.
