We’re so sorry for your loss. John, You and Janet were such an inspiration to me growing up. I am a better man today because of knowing such Godly people that loved unconditionally. Thank you all you did for us while serving the Lord at Paris First Baptist. We get out our wedding pictures every year and are thankful for you being apart of that special day 23 years ago.
God bless you and sweet Janet’s efforts as you inspired the people you both served aside and lead.
Much Love,
Curtis, and Kristy McElroy

Clyde, it has been many years since I have seen you and Janet. I was two years ahead of you in school. Janet was a great helpmeetto you as you pursued Christ in your ministry. She is waiting on you and your son and grandchildren as she sits down with many from Clarksville, including my parents, Lowell and Elise Ray. God is very close to you at this dark valley surrounds you. In love,. Johnny Ray

I am so sorry to hear about Janet's home going. I was not aware of it before her service. I remember very fondly of my time with both of you at Archview, and am still so thankful of your helping bring me back into church. Your inspiration and willingness to be used by God helped me see what I needed to do. You and Janet helped me see the right path for me to take and give me insight into what a God centered marriage should look like. When I got married and left the church you and Janet were still on my mind. We have been married now since 1981 and you two helped inspire me to be the husband God expects from me. Thank you for your life and ministry, it has meant much to me. Bill Adcock

So many memories have you and Janet in them from your days at Archview. It is almost impossible to separate the two. Our wedding, mom keeping John Mark in the nursery, my brother making that crazy sign on your 40th birthday. We loved and still love you both.

It has both shocked and saddened me to learn of her death. She has had a long hard physical life of late; but now she is comforted and we are left to mourn. I can truly say Janet has been an inspiration both to Sheila, myself and her whole family. She loved the LORD, her husband and family and will always be remembered as one of GOD's most beloved servants.

It brings joy to know her suffering is over and now she is safe in the arms of her Savior, she can no longer come to us but we live with the hope of one day seeing her, what a comforting promise from our LORD.

Our deepest sympathy goes to her family left behind. Her husband, her sister, her son, grandchildren and all other family members and friends. We will always be in prayer for them as they navigate this life dealing with the loss.

Even though we are physically separated by miles and my health prohibits me from being at the services today; we will remember you this day and always.

May GOD grant everyone with HIS peace and comfort today and always as we turn our sorrow over to HIM.
