Jo-Leona Tomilson, 69 of Hartman, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on August 11, 1950 to her parents Sidney Allen Coates and Dollie Mae Darden. Jo was a member of The Pentecostals of Truth Tabernacle in Ozark for twenty-three years, during this time she was a devoted member serving her Lord. She was a faith servant to her Lord and Savior, enjoyed reading her bible and doing things for her church and church family. Jo enjoyed cooking, most importantly her family was her world, loving each one unconditionally.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Qunnen "Slim" Tomlinson, son Qunnen Tomlinson Jr., daughter in-law Cendy Ann Tomlinson, and great granddaughter Lucille French, one sister Nellie Harley, six brothers: Bobby Maples, Buck Maples, Sidney Coates Jr., Joseph Coates, Thomas "Tommy" Coates, and Timothy "Timmy" Coates.
Jo is survived by her daughters Yona and husband Stephen French of Ozone and DeeDee Chappa and Martin Puga of Texarkana, TX; four sons: Albert Tomlinson of Hartman, C.H. Tomlinson of Hartman, Carl Daniel and wife Kimberly of Texas, Ernie Earles Jr. of Pineville, LA; Grandchildren: Jessica and husband Jessie Robison, Stevie and wife Tennessa French, Kayla French and Chris Marcletti, Chris O'Quinn and Miranda Perry, Daniel and Kimberly Williams Tomlinson, Brooklynn and husband Zachary Boyd, Hunter Tomlinson, Dillon Tomlinson, Ryder Earles, Daniella Cline, Sapphire Cline, Matthew Tomlinson, Christopher Tomlinson, and Jordan Tomlinson, fourteen great grandchildren, one sister Grace Orr, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Jo's funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville, AR., with Bro. John Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Big Mike Wilson, Little Mike Wilson, Johnnie Orr, Polywog Orr, Ronnie Grant, and Chris Marcletti serving as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are Jessie Robison, Carl Tomlinson, and Ernie Earles.

Aunt Leona was a shining light in a dark world. She loved and accepted me for who I was even when others didn't. My love for her will never end. My deepest sympathy goes out to everyone that lost this amazing woman.

Aunt Leona is a blessing in my life that I got to meet thru Deedee. I am forever grateful for being able to meet her. She will be missed so much. My condolences to all the family.
