In May of 1986 he was united in marriage to Pamela Louise Moppin in Hot Springs, AR. Pam was the love of his life and they enjoyed going out to eat, spending time with Suzette, Pam's sister, and taking care of children. A special memory of Mark's was spending time with Pam's family helping with their childcare business.

His Supervisor, Jim Clark made his work enjoyable and he was always ready to help Jim out. He enjoyed Nascar, his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt. He and his niece, Alisha enjoyed analyzing the races between their favorite drivers. Preston enjoyed helping Bruce with the hunting shows as well as attending cat shows and planting flowers with Suzette. The Arkansas Razorbacks and New England Patriots held a special place in his heart, and he enjoyed watching them.
Preston would want to be remembered for helping others, being a good friend, and caring for his loved ones. Preston was a Christian and will forever rejoice in heaven.
