Earl James Caillouet, Sr. 101 of Dover, AR., passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019 in Clarksville, AR. Earl was born May 20, 1917 in Beaumont, TX to Elphege Theophil & Marie (Broussard) Caillouet. Earl enjoyed horseback riding, music, singing, and ballroom dancing. He taught vocal and instrumental music for over 50 years. The family would like to give a special thanks to everyone at Johnson County Health & Rehab especially Bobbie Walker.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two wives Gussie Carmouche Caillouet of 50 years and Nella Prejean Caillouet of 15 years, 3 brothers, 1 great granddaughter, and 1 great-great grandson.
Earl is survived by son Earl James Caillouet Jr. of Ft. Smith, AR; daughter Myra Connolly of Parker, CO; daughter Elaine & Rick Richard of Dover, AR; son Jerome Caillouet of Broken Arrow, OK; son Leonard & Dawanna Caillouet of Dover, AR; son Christopher & Ronda Caillouet of Denver, CO; 14 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Lane Cemetery north of Dover, AR on highway 7 with Jake Chism officiating.

Wonderful memories of Mr Caillouet as he directed the St Peter’s Roman Catholic Church Choir in Carencro Louisiana many years ago. He had such energy and enthusiasm for music. May he Rest In Peace with the Heavenly Choirs of Our God.

I have fond memories of Mr. Caillouet's music class as an eighth grader at Carencro Catholic School. It was one of the highlights of my day, and we were so proud of the concert we gave at the end of that year. I learned so much with him in such a short period of time. God rest his soul and my prayers for him and his family...
