Nettie Faye (Williams) Hughes, 93, of Lamar, passed away on January 29, 2019 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born June 28, 1925 in Tennessee to the late George and Maggie (Barrowman) Williams. Nettie enjoyed quilting, making her clothes, cooking, and reading. Most of all enjoyed her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Roy Hughes.
Nettie is survived by two sons: Bill Ray Hughes of Lamar and James Dale Hughes of Missouri; one daughter Linda Sue Sabo of Arizona; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Sorry to hear about Nettles passing.I enjoyed talking with her.I remember when she worked hard at the nursing home,when l was very young.She has always been an inspiration to me and others I am sure.love and prayers to allow her family
