Randall Amos Smith was born March 27, 1927 in Roseville, Ohio to Carl and Sylvia (Smith) Smith, and went home to be with His Lord on January 18, 2019 in Russellville, Arkansas at the age of 91. Randall served our country in the United States Navy during World War II. A member of the Christian Life Center. Randall loved his country and loved to work, from owning his own gas station to even being a custodian at the age of 80. When not at work he loved to keep the garden and cook with his wife of 71 years. Randall loved his family and friends, and found time to relax by sitting on the porch swing watching the garden grow and cars passing by.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Sylvia Smith; two sisters: Eva Brown and Trudy Coates; two brothers: Carl Smith Jr., and Melvin Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Janet (Gebhart) Smith of Clarksville; a son, Randy(Cheryl) Smith of Lamar, two daughters: Sharon (Larry) Farris of Clarksville, Elaine (Terry) Sanderson of Knoxville, ;one sister Mary Williams of Zanesville, OH; one brother Frank Smith of Shawnee OH; three grandsons: Larry (Kristy) Farris, Joshua (Stacey) Smith, and Matthew Sanderson; three granddaughters: Angela Kirk, Erica (Seth)Houghton, and Sarah (Jared) Martin; six great grandchildren: Morgan Farris, Brandon Farris, Landon Kirk, Abigail Smith, Connor Houghton, and Gage Martin; a host of other family and friends.
Uncle Randall will be missed very much. I can't think of my childhood without him and Aunt Janet coming to mind because they were such a big part of it. Sending all my Love and prayers to Aunt Janet and family.
He is a good person and he is funny
Randy and Cheryl, I am truly sorry for your loss but know you have wonderful memories of Randall to carry you through until you see him again.
Bro.Smith was a very sweet man.I loved his stories about his little girl Elaine...lol...he would just pat here little hand... we lobe you all.
Uncle Randall was a good and kind man, who always had something nice to say. I was always happy to see him. He will be missed.

Lesa and I have your family in our prayers. Bro. Smith was a great example of a true Gentleman. I will always remember every time we spoke he invited me to come and visit and he would guide me to some good fishing holes. If God permits; I will take him fishing in Heaven.

My memories of Uncle Frank are good ones, even tho only a few exist.I loved listening to the stories he had to tell of my grandparents,aunts, uncles,and cousins. My heart aches for Aunt Janet and the family, I didn't know him well, but I know he was loved and will be missed. Hugs and prayers to you all.
