Jonnie Bell (Roberts) Teltow, 82, of Clarksville, completed her journey in this world January 5, 2019. She was born October 17, 1936 in Clarksville to the late John and Hettie (Carlile) Roberts. On September 18, 1955 she married the love of her life, Mayron Glen Teltow. Jonnie worked alongside Glen in their family business as bookkeeper for many years. She had many hobbies that included sewing, needle point, and playing slot games on her laptop. Jonnie had a deep love for her family and enjoyed having them all together. Jonnie was also a kind loving person that never met a stranger and whose door was always open.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years Mayron Glen Teltow; two sons: Jimmy and John Mark Teltow.
Jonnie is survived by one son Glen R Teltow, two daughters, Vicki Teltow Garcia and Valerie Teltow Wiley, daughter in law Tammy Jo Teltow, son in law Dan Wiley, Sister Gussie Phillips, Grandchildren: Chelli Garcia, Cristal (Garcia) Funderburk, Bekah Garcia, Annie, Glen Wesley, and Kendra Porter, 10 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived, admired, loved, and respected by a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Teltow's funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 10, 2019, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastors Larry Pyle and Tammy Jo Teltow officiating. Burial will follow at Minnow Creek Cemetery with Behnum Ahrabli, Reza Clint Ahrabli, Stephen Hall, William Holman, Gary Allen Jacobs, and Tyler Smith serving as Pall Bearers. I happened on your sweet mother’s obituary this morning. It brought many memories back of days long past.
I was your neighbor over on Lucas street in Clarksville. I lived in a little White House adjacent to your home and we would run back and forth to each other’s houses. Your mom always made me feel so at home.God bless you all and thank you for the many good memories I have of those summer evenings, playing in the yard.
