Mary Imogene Cheek, 86 of Bryant, Arkansas passed away peacefully Friday, March 6, 2020. She was born August 24, 1933 in Pampa, Texas to Frank Cook and Josephine Gene Eichler. Mrs. Cheek grew up in Gillette, Arkansas and was "Ima" to her three brothers, and "Momma" to her extended family at Foxridge Senior Living Center.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Vernon Cheek; parents; and three brothers, Fritz, Donnie, and Jim Eichler.
She is survived by her children, John (Cindy) Cheek, Tami (Dusty) Clark and Mitzi (Jeff) Pace; grandchildren, Jarred, Kimberly, Jennifer, Jonathon, Hannah, Lorali, and Jack; and great-grandson, Liam, who always made her laugh and smile!
Special thanks to the Foxridge Assisted Living Center staff for taking extra-special care of her for the last 10 years, and to Kindred Hospice staff for their care these last few weeks.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 10, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Benton, 211 S. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas with Dr. Rick Grant officiating. Interment will follow at Cameron Cemetery.

Tim and I are praying for comfort for you and your family. We know how sad a time like this is. May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding be yours. Praise Him that she is in the arms of Jesus forever happy and well!

Very sad to hear of Imogene's passing. She was a sweet lady and a good friend to my mom at Foxridge. My condolences to Tammy and the rest of the family.
