Leora Penny Russell Cooper, 87, of El Dorado passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019. She was born April 13, 1931 to the late Jake and Dezzie Russell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, her baby girl, her oldest son, one brother, two sisters, and three half-brothers.
Survivors include sons, Jimmy Baker of Mississippi and Darrell Baker of North Carolina; half-sister, Sandi Newcome of Malvern; half-brother, Larry Don Russell of Benton; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Sayers officiating. Interment will follow in Hicks Cemetery in Benton.
A time of visitation will begin an hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
