Bonnie Knauer, age 70, of Benton, formerly of Branson, MO, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015 at St. Vincent's in Little Rock, AR. She was born December 4, 1944 in Oahu, Hawaii to the late William and Betsy Johnston. She was a homemaker and of Christian faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Robert Johnston.
Survivors include her husband of over forty-seven years, William Knauer; one son, Ryan Knauer and wife, Carrie of Benton, AR; step-daughter, Karen Anderson of Ozark, MO; five grandchildren, Lindsey Knauer, Carly Anderson, Lauren Anderson, Danya Schafer, and Roslyn Schafer, and her two best friends, Sharon Gage and Lana Brotherton.
A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, AR.

Bonnie was a good friend of ours. She was always had a smile on her face. Barb, Bonnie. Mary and I made many trips between Branson and Springfield to play bingo. Bonnie enjoyed playing bingo but I think she enjoyed more beating me playing cards. I know she's up in heaven.
