Loretta Kay Pledger of Clarksville, was born April 10, 1944, to her parents in Clarksville, Arkansas. She went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 24, 2007, at her home. She was a member of Jamestown Assembly of God church in Clarksville, and was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Reverend Amos Pledger of Clarksville, Arkansas, two sons, Charlie Pledger and wife Tammy of Clarksville, Arkansas, Paul Pledger and wife Kim of Clarksville, Arkansas, a daughter, Melissa Eddy and husband Nelson of Clarksville, Arkansas, a sister, Anita June Warkentin of Clarksville, Arkansas, seven grandchildren, Melinda Keeton of Cecil, Arkansas, Matt Pledger, Whitney Pledger, Derrick Pledger, Bailey Pledger, Ariel Eddy, and Braxton Eddy, all of Clarksville, Arkansas, and a great-granddaughter, Alexis Keeton of Cecil, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Olen Benson and Lola Serena Pitts Frost, and a grandson, Zachary Parker.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 26, 2007, at Roller Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville, Arkansas, with Brother David Zeiler, Brother Tony Burrow, and Brother Robbie Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Coal Hill Cemetery in Coal Hill, Arkansas. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M., Friday, May 25, 2007, at Roller Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville, Arkansas.
