Maxine Fielder, 72, of Marvell, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2007, in Memphis, Tennessee. Mrs. Fielder was born November 3, 1934, in Elaine, Arkansas to the late Edgar and Ruby Darter Turner.
Mrs. Fielder is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann George and husband Jimmy of Sedalia, Missouri; a son, George "Buster" Fielder and Suecanne Baldwin of Marvell, Arkansas; grandchildren, Ashley Owens of Melbourne, Arkansas and Shae George of Strawberry, Arkansas; great-grandchildren, Kristen and Britney George. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Alton Fielder; a grandson, Shane George; brothers, Bobby, Joe, and Charles Turner; and sisters, Kathy Smith, Betty Lampkin, Edna Seat, Thelma Hardin.
Graveside services for Mrs. Fielder will be Thursday, February 1, 2007, at 3 p.m. at Marvell Cemetery in Marvell, Arkansas. The Rev. Rodger Hooker will officiate.
